Good Practices to Reduce the Spread of COVID-19
Dr. Blotner and the staff of Westchester Fertility are closely monitoring what is happening with COVID-19 in the region.
We are committed to keeping our patients as healthy and safe as possible when they visit our clinic. As we have always done, we are maintaining the highest standard of cleanliness and infection control in all areas of our clinic and laboratory to safeguard you and your genetic material.
We would also encourage you to take the following steps to help protect yourself and others while also being proactive in controlling the spread of COVID-19:
- If you are feeling sick, especially if you have a cough or a fever, please call us to reschedule your appointment.
- Frequently wash your hands vigorously for at least 20 seconds with soap and water.
- Cough or sneeze into a tissue or into your sleeve.
- Carefully dispose of tissues.
- Avoid touching your nose, mouth and eyes. We know it is hard, but being mindful helps to prevent the virus from going into your nose, mouth or eyes.
- Instead of shaking hands or hugging, practice other types of greetings like the namaste pose (hands together in prayer), hand over your heart, like the pledge, or waving.
As always, please don’t hesitate to contact us with your questions.
